Only four days to go before the great and the good of the design world congregate in Dublin for Offset 2009 and (apart from trying to work out how to fit more than a toothpick and a bottle of Chanel No5 into our measly Ryanair-approved shopping bag) Grafik can't wait.

The organisers have pulled together what can only be described as a stunning list of speakers, those lucky enough to have grabbed a ticket will be able to hear the likes of GTF, David Shrigley, Sir Peter Blake, James Jean, Chip Kidd, Experimental Jetset, Anthony Burill — the list goes on (and on, and on).

And if you missed the wonderful Tara McPherson at Semi-Permanent, you can catch her on the opening morning at 11.40 sharp. Don't be fooled by the cute toys and winsome girls that regularly appear in her work, there's a hard-edged spookiness that's never too far from the surface. We love Tara's sense of fun and her sense of style, this lady has a set of tats so impressive they would put a navvy to shame...
